Beebishopdesigns is about teachable moments and lessons for the giver and the receiver on how to connect hearts and imagination through the wonderful

works of our hands.

A note from BeeBishop

"I discovered that by allowing the spirit to direct my talents I have been abundantly blessed! I have been given an opportunity to help hearts unite and friendships form.

Through the recreation of an heirloom, I have become a conduit of sorts in bringing the past to the present in the lives of others.
Through alterations I have been allowed to be of service to others and I have developed great friendships.
Through fabric arts I have been given the opportunity to connect with myself and the universe.

I am so honored to be a part of this process we call life and to be able to use the gifts I have been given."

Who Is 'BeeBishop'

What is BeeBishopdesigns About?

Elizabeth (Bee) Bishop grew up being called Betty and Aunt 'B' by some family members thus the 'Bee' in Bishop). She is an artist, seamstress and co-creator with the spirit. She thrives on creating and on the creativity of others.

She has had much encouragement and many mentors along the way.

Elizabeth is married to a wonderful husband, has twin sons and a daughter and eight beautiful grandchildren.

She holds a BA in Montessori Education.

At age six Elizabeth was introduced to hand embroidery which opened many creative doors involving the use of textiles. These include; hand needled work, years of garment construction, traditional and contemporary quilting, designing and creating one-of-a kind art dolls utilizing various mediums, home interior projects, creative writing and a love for illustrating.

Networking with an amazing abundance of talents in the quilting world blessed Elizabeth with numerous like minded friends and it inspired a personal pursuit of her self published book titled

“A Piece of Sheet, A Story and A Stitch”, And of course the current business of beebishopdesigns.com
